Prolinnova–Ghana 2019 report

In 2019, the Ghana Country Platform (CP), hosted by ACDEP (Association of Church-Based Development NGOs), coordinated and took part in the Misereor-funded Proli-FaNS (Promoting Local Innovation for Food and Nutrition Security) project, which ended in September 2019 and now coordinates the follow-on project SULCI-Fans (Scaling Up Local Capacity to Innovate for Food and Nutrition Security). Rural communities and gradually also other agricultural research and development stakeholders are embracing the approach of promoting local innovation and participatory innovation development to develop better ways to ensure food security and sustainable rural livelihoods. The annual report for 2019 describes the CP’s main achievements, challenges and perspectives and includes a self-assessment.
